Patrick James

Patrick comes to the Foundation from The New York Public Library where he worked in development, managing foundation and government grants. Prior to this, he worked for a number of leading arts and cultural organizations in New York City and San Francisco.

At the Foundation, he oversees grantmaking processes and procedures, compliance, and overall grants management functions, and serves as the chief point of contact for grant seekers and other stakeholders. A California native, he received a Bachelor of Arts in art history from San Francisco State University and a Master of Public Administration from CUNY Baruch College.
